Shehzada (transl. Prince) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action drama film written and directed by Rohit Dhawan. It is produced by T-Series Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts, Brat Films, and Kartik Aaryan himself. This film marks Kartik Aaryan's debut as a producer. The film stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role alongside Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar. It is a remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 10 February 2023.

Synopsis[edit]

Bantu grows up being constantly subjected to his father's scorn. However, he later learns that he was replaced by his real parents by his father, and decides to carve a place for himself within the family to he truly belongs.

Production[edit]

The film was announced on 12 October 2021.^[1][2] Principal photography began on the next day i.e. 13 October 2021 Mumbai.^[3] The next schedule took place in Delhi.^[4] After many sequences were shot in Mauritius, filming wrapped up on 10 January 2023.^[5][6]

Release[edit]

Shehzada is scheduled to release on 10 February 2023. Initially, the film was scheduled for theatrical release on 4 November 2022 but was delayed due to production.^[7][8]
